Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to join our team at Plant Development Services Inc. As a Marketing Intern, you will assist in various tasks to support our marketing efforts and enhance our online presence. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing and within the horticulture industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in updating web content for our six brand web sites.
- Manage email newsletter audiences and create email newsletters.
- Assist with content management to improve on-site SEO.
- Plan and post social media content.
- Update retailer locators to ensure accuracy and relevancy.
- Monitor and communicate trends for our key audiences.
- Assist with photography/video production and organization.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with social media platforms.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles.
- Creative thinking and ability to contribute innovative ideas.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Passion for plants and horticulture is a plus.
