Southern Living™ Plant Collection Announces New Introductions

LOXLEY, AL — The Southern Living™ Plant Collection has announced a range of exciting, new plant offerings for the Fall 2009 – Spring 2010 season.  The Fall 2009 introductions include: the double-blooming Jubilation™ Gardenia, Blush Pink™ Nandina, showy Queen Mum™ Agapanthus and other additions. New plants for Spring 2010 include: new early-blooming Crape Myrtles, Cleopatra™ and Marc Anthony™ Liriopes and more.

The Southern Living™ Plant Collection, first introduced in Spring 2008 through a partnership between PDSI® and Southern Living®, provides innovative new plants designed to solve specific landscape challenges.

Each plant in the collection is the result of years of plant evaluations, plant trials and consumer research. The plants in the Collection are selected to perform especially well in Southern gardens.
