Magnolia Plantation and Gardens plants both collections to form new summer garden.
Loxley, AL – July 23, 2012 – Plants from the Southern Living Plant Collection and Encore Azalea will extend bloom times in a new summer garden to be featured at the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in Charleston, South Carolina.
The Magnolia Plantation and Gardens opened in the early 1870’s and has since brought tourists from around the world to view the gardens comprised of various varieties of flowers. Magnolia prides itself on having flowers that bloom year round and the new summer garden will be no exception.
Encore Azaleas are the perfect choice because they bloom not only in spring, but also summer and fall; and the annuals and perennials from the Southern Living Plant Collectionare specially selected to keep blooming through the heat and humidity of Southern summers.
